Or do you prefer love affairs, weddings and family fun? Then maybe you should start with chapter 7 or chapter 4.

Chapter 8 has rather a lot of long words, so perhaps it is better to begin after all with something more simple, such as the picture of a typical morning's work in the life of a Yorkshire animaldoctor in the 1950s, which you'll find in chapter 1.
